Face of Boe Adventures
I’ve been watching a lot of Dr Who recently, and I noticed the current writers have a knack for adding cheesy characters you would expect from a 60s or 70s sci-fi show. One of the more prominent ones is the Face of Boe, who is repeatedly called a traveler. So, I decided to chronicle some of his adventures, particularly the last 24 years of his life.

Doesn’t he know “The Secret”? He’s important for some reason or other. But you are right. He kind of just hangs out with cat nun nurses.

Oh yeah, I remember who he is… I won’t spoil it for you. The Face of Boe is a time traveler that we’ve met before.

Nah, there’s nothing to spoil. I know about Harkness and all that stuff. This was more about people in show calling him a traveler/wandering spirit ala the Doctor. Maybe it’s because of stuff like Legends of the Hidden Temple, but I find it hard to envision giant stone faces doing a lot of adventuring, even if they are capable of teleportation and space travel.
Plus, at least the last 20-something years of his life were said, in show, to be him just chilling in the Senate chamber with his nurse.

As for important things he does, in show he does two: connect to New^17 York’s computer network and keep it running, and warn about the Master…I think the last part is “The Secret” you’re referring to?
