I’ve been watching a lot of Dr Who recently, and I noticed the current writers have a knack for adding cheesy characters you would expect from a 60s or 70s sci-fi show. One of the more prominent ones is the Face of Boe, who is repeatedly called a traveler. So, I decided to chronicle some of his adventures, particularly the last 24 years of his life.

I’m trying out a new artistic concept. I am drawing comics (on MS Paint of course), and the only creative limitation I’m giving myself is that they have to be a set length. I’m going to draw a few of these, the first one being exactly 1 meter in length. I’m hoping to work my way up to a Football Field length comic, but that may be a bit ambituous. For now, here is a 100 centimeters of web comic. The plot is very simple… and yeah… I’ll just post it.

The third installment of crudely drawn illustrations, a living testament to the squandering of a higher education. Previous installments can be found here and here. Click on any of the thumbnails to see the full doodle. Enjoy!
And, for those who might ask, yes I did meet a girl who claimed that Led Zeppelin ‘clawed her soul’. It was a sad day for humanity.

I would like to warn that this is in a fairly different style than other comics that have been posted here.

I made these on MS paint this past Friday night, after consuming roughly 5ml of ethanol per kilogram of body weight. I go through a general arch when consuming large quantities of ethanol based substances, starting with denial of intoxication, then euphoria and silliness, then overconfidence and getting up on tables and singing, then extreme friendliness and honesty with every single person I encounter, then hunger, and finally, depression (then sleep). This last time, I apparently decided to express myself and my current state of feeling. If my recollection serves, I was listening to Elliot Smith and Leonard Cohen while creating this artwork…. so yeah. This is what I drew.

I decided to post this work when I realized how long it had been since I participated on procrast-nation. It was inspired by my recent visit to High School prom. I scribbled it sloppily out in under 5 minutes on the back of a paper whose ink showed through to the backside when it was scanned. Therefore (and this really should go without saying), do not judge the piece soley on its technical [de]merits.
